It seems that now more than any, Amidst The Affliction seems to be doing a whole lot of nothing. This isn’t really a bad thing, it’s just something that feels kinda odd.
If I was a band doctor and ATA came in for a check up this is what the diagnosis would be.
You need to practice more, your not getting enough of that in your system.
You seem to have a drummer that doesn’t ever seem like he enjoys being, playing, practicing with the other bandmates. This is detrimental to your health. Hopefully surgery will never have to happen.
Your lead guitarist is probably going to college out of state at the end of the summer. That shortens your life expectancy.
Your vocalist has lost his power and range that once came so easily. I suggest vocal exercise and fitness.
You do not have enough people writing music, it’s usually up to one person. Zach, step it up.
You do not have a tour vehicle for tour.
Or a trailor.
It’s like being in a wheelchair.
Now not to make things sound horrible, I love being in such a fun band. But times change and it seems as though ATA’s time may be running out. Sorry, that was horribly cliche but you get the point.
Would I be sad if ATA broke up?
Yes, and No. If we break up at the end of the summer, that will be a bummer (that rhymed), but I would not be heartbroken. We would all find things to do.

Problems are rarely seen as opportunities, so this sounds like one big possobility.
Wow you couldnt have said it any better, im pretty sure if I wrote something like this it would be way more harsh and probaly would hurt peoples feelings, so good work, and whatever happens, happens for a reason, with everything, so just grab a cold one and sit back and relax, and enjoy the ride
