Chya, Summertime

So I was just thinking about what I am going to be doing this summer and I think I liked what I was picturing.

I am hopefully going to be a tropical snowman and working a bunch to so can play for my room and board next year(and to buy a new guitar(Agile 3000) and a new amp (marshall jcm 2000 DSL 50, Avatar 2X12 w/ Celestion Vintage 30’s). Hopefully Steven can get things figured out and I will have a guaranteed job and a 15 year old boss. Fine by me.

Next is traveling.

The second week of June Mitch, James, and I are going to Can-freakin-cun and it’s going to be an awesome time. Words can not describe how excited I am to go on that ten day trip of paradise.

Tour.

This summer ATA is planning on going on a 20 day tour to a bunch different states. Tour= party time!

Summer nights.
Summer nights are what I am looking forward to. I want to play a lot more volleyball in the evenings, and grill brats and burgers. That sounds aweome. Movies are good too.

What I don’t want to do is do the same thing every weekend(or weeknight). Sitting in the basement of someone’s house doing absolutely nothing over and over again. That happened last year and a couple of people will be perfectly content doing that this year but I would rather not. I am planning on going out and doing a lot of stuff this summer and having a nice change of scenery.

So all in all I don’t want to sit around doing the same old thing over and over.

I want to start a longboarding gang and we can longboard around West Des Moines like surf ninjas carving up the streets and paths and rolling in the sweet nectar of a big long hill.

Get a longboard, be cool.

I have tan lines from where my gauges were around my ears.

It’s raining outside and I have to walk in it.

Steve Stuart is living with the Zach and James bros next year.

I bought new underwear on Sunday.

Next Saturday is August Burns Red and Chasing Victory @ The Rock in Nebraska.
